CAP Prize – International Prize for Contemporary African Photography, is being offered for the 10th time in 2021. The prize consists of global exposure in collaboration with major international photography exhibitions, and is aimed at photographers whose work engages with the African continent or an African diaspora.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the CAP Prize, the CAP Association is publishing a book showcasing all winning projects since 2012. The book also contains essays on the topic of contemporary African photography, written by a wide variety of key persons currently moving and shaking things in the realm of African photography. The book reflect on the past and on future movements in African photography.
